Sumbangsih Dermawan Seni Berhadiah

Vulnerability in the art ecosystem has increasingly become a hot topic worth discussing. Many of us have been trying various ways to address this issue. SDSB (Sumbangsih Dermawan Seni Berhadiah) is an experimental art project based on a lottery system as a tool to tackle the vulnerabilities within the art ecosystem.

Creating an oracle-like subhumanoid character named Jeng Ulo, these works is reminiscent of lotteries available during the Soeharto era as a distraction towards the rising economic failure of Indonesia during the 70s – 90s.
