“Aca & Ica” is a humorous slice-of-life about two girls in Jaksel that’s smart, yet light and not afraid to make fun of itself.
In 2024, Ula relased her first full length graphic novel under Bali based independent publisher Cahyati Press titled Aca & Ica : Collected Stories. The book follows the issues urban youth face amidst the capitalistic hustle of city life, touching on various topics related to the experiences of women such as day-to-day body horror, consumerism, social politics, classism, gender roles, sexual violence and broader political issues prevalent in Indonesia.
